🏗 New Build
Measure the rough opening (the hole in the wall). Then subtract 1" on each side (2" total from width) and 1" from the top to get your door size.
Example: Rough opening 62" × 81" → Order door 60" × 80"
🔧 Remodel / Replacement
Measure the existing door slab (the door leaf, without the frame). Then add 1" on each side (2" total to width) and 1" to the top to get your door size.
Example: Slab 62" × 81" → Order door 64" × 82"
Enter the final door size directly in the fields above. Our doors are sold with frame included. No bottom clearance needed.
Displayed colors are approximate representations. Actual finish may vary depending on lighting and material.
The jamb refers to the thickness of the door's frame as it sits in your wall. To measure your jamb for our exterior steel double doors, get the measurement from the outermost finishing of your exterior (stucco, brick, concrete, wood, etc.) to the face of the drywall inside.
Make sure you include all building materials and their finishings in this measurement — from the outermost exterior surface all the way to the interior drywall face.
